If you are tuning your engine for a higher horsepower, higher RPM application.  Manton push rods will handle the additional stress a lot better than stock push rods.  Even if you aren’t trying to get more performance out of your engine, the original push rod in a 6.0 Powerstroke was too long, and caused undue stress on the lifters. Need Lifters?
